Small intestine function

 

The small intestine (small bowel) is about 20 bases long and about an inch in periphery. Satiny towel lines the small intestine, which is divided into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum the large intestine (colon or large bowel) is about 5 bases long and about 3 elevations in periphery. The colon absorbs water from wastes, creating coprolite. As coprolite enters the rectum, jitters there produce the appetite to defecate
